Mission: To promote health and restoration through therapeutic touch in a way that each persons needs are heard and met, so that there is balance and renewal of the body, mind, and spirit.
Why get A Massage: It is a lifelong opportunity to heal, relax, and better the body functions. It offers healthy touch and body awareness physically, mentally, and emotionally. It is a tool for building strength and a sense of well-being. I want to be able to share and teach others to appreciate the body and its design.
Background: I grew up in a home with a mom and 2 sisters as nurses. There were many conversations around the table about the body, the art of healing, the strength of body to withstand trauma. I have always been amazed at how the body works together with so many different parts, organs, and systems. The human body is amazingly complex, detailed and delicate. Fearfully & wonderfully designed.
Lifestyle: Life is celebrated with my four adult children, a grandbaby boy, and many friends. I like to hike and camp, ski and snowshoe, play volleyball, disc golf, and throw a javelin. I like board games, especially word games. I am grateful for Jesus and his love for me. I am a work in progress. I like book club, weight training, and country western dance. I have talen up Salsa dancing in the new year and enjoy the Salsa community in Portland. I enjoy the busyness of life and the energy it brings.
